Damascus, SANA-Ministry of Economy and Industry and the Syrian Establishment for International Fairs and Exhibitions held on Monday a press conference to announce launch the 62nd Damascus International Fair.<\/p>\n
Director General of the Syrian Public Establishment for International Fairs & Exhibitions, Mohammad Hamza stresses that Damascus International Fair poses a historic event that has long been a milestone in the Syrian, Arab, and international economic landscape.<\/p>\n
“This year’s edition of the Fair has a special national theme, as it’s the first to be held since the liberation of Damascus from the deposed regime, and is under the generous patronage of His Excellency President Ahmed al-Sharaa, and this gives this activity a significant political and economic significance.<\/p>\n
Minister of Economy and Industry, Mohammad Al-Shaar said \u201cSyria today is not rebuilding what has been destroyed, but rather it is relying on civilizational foundations. Today, we are not merely offering pavilions and products, but rather an opportunity for Syria as a rising state, a recovering economy, and doors opening to the future\u201d. \u201cSyria is opening its arms once again to the world and is enacting new laws to attract investment. A free Syria is being built with the participation of all its people\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Minister of Culture Mohammad Yassin al-Saleh: launching activities of Damascus International Fair is a civilized message that demonstrates our people’s ability to build, introduce others to their heritage, and share their vision with the world. Thus, the Fair becomes a platform for commercial and cultural exchange.<\/p>\n
