On the Palestinian issue, King Abdullah called for an end to Israel’s war on Gaza urging the international community to act quickly to stop hunger and suffering, establish a lasting ceasefire, and respect international law.<\/p>\n

The King warned that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza is severe and the situation in the West Bank is critical, risking a wider regional conflict due to Israeli actions.<\/p>\n

\nHe mentioned that recognizing Palestine is being considered but is not planned now; it will be necessary to achieve peace soon.
