Amman, SANA-Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad al-Shaibani met Tuesday with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi, and US Special Envoy for Syria Thomas Barrack, in the Jordanian capital, Amman, Syrian foreign Ministry said.<\/p>\n

The Ministry said in a statement that \u201cTalks during the meeting focused on ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the three parties to support Syria\u2019s sovereignty and security stability.\u201d<\/p>\n

The officials \u201cagreed to form a Syrian-Jordanian-American working group to support the Syrian government’s efforts to consolidate the ceasefire in Sweida Governorate and work to find a comprehensive solution to the crisis\u201d the Ministry added.<\/p>\n

The meeting “welcomed the Syrian government’s efforts in the humanitarian field with regard to restoring basic services, holding perpetrators of violations accountable, and creating conditions for the displaced persons to return to their homes\u201d it said.\n<\/p>\n
