{"id":37116,"date":"2015-04-21T11:29:50","date_gmt":"2015-04-21T08:29:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=37116"},"modified":"2015-04-21T11:29:50","modified_gmt":"2015-04-21T08:29:50","slug":"syrian-prisoner-day-marked-in-quneitra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=37116","title":{"rendered":"Syrian Prisoner Day marked in Quneitra"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Quneitra, SANA- Marking the Syrian Prisoner Day, a\u00a0seminar was held Monday at the auditorium of the 4th Education Faculty at al-Baath city in\u00a0Quneitra province.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar was organized by Quneitra Governorate\u00a0in cooperation with the Committee for Supporting Liberated and Detained Syrian Prisoners\u00a0in the Israeli Jails.<\/p>\n<p>Participants in the seminar called upon the\u00a0international legal and human rights institutions to exert more pressure on the Israeli occupation\u00a0authorities to release all the Syrian prisoners, on top the re-detained captor Sidiki al-Maqt.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman of the committee, liberated prisoner Ali\u00a0al-Younus reviewed the forms of torture against the Arab detainees in the Israeli jails\u00a0which aim at undermining their will, stressing that the occupation authorities use\u00a0various types of internationally banned torture methods against the Arab captives.<\/p>\n<p>He indicated that the captives formed the National\u00a0Resistance Captive Movement at the Israeli jails to face the arrogance and Nazism of the\u00a0Israeli occupation.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, Lawyer Mohammad al-Mahamid said that\u00a0the Israeli occupation has violated all the resolutions of the UN Security Council and the\u00a0UN General Assembly which are related to the occupied Syrian Golan backed by the US\u00a0administration and some European countries.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-37118 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/prisoner-1-300x214.jpg\" alt=\"prisoner 1\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/prisoner-1-300x214.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/prisoner-1-150x107.jpg 150w, https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/prisoner-1.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Al-Mahamid referred to some of the Zionist\u00a0entities&#8217; violations such as displacing 135 thousand residents of the occupied Syrian Golan\u00a0and establishing more than 4o Zionist settlements and other violations.<\/p>\n<p>A photo exhibition was held on the sidelines of\u00a0the seminar.
