Damascus, SANA- The temperatures will continue to\u00a0drop to become from 4 to 7 degrees below average as the country is being affected by a low\u00a0air pressure accompanied by a cold and wet air mass in all the layers of the atmosphere.<\/p>\n
In its Thursday forecast, the Meteorology\u00a0Department expected that thundershowers will fall over most areas and sometimes they will become\u00a0heavy, and snow will fall over the high mountains in the evening.<\/p>\n
The wind will be from westerly to southwesterly\u00a0moderate and its speed will reach 60 Kph while the height of the sea waves will be between\u00a0medium and high.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow, the temperatures will remain from 3 to 7\u00a0degrees below average and rain showers are expected over different areas while the wind\u00a0will be southwesterly.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, the temperatures will gradually rise,\u00a0yet they will remain slightly below average and the skies will be clear in general.<\/p>\n
Weather Forecaster Zakariya al-Issa told SANA that\u00a0the instability in the weather in the country came as a result of being affected by a\u00a0cold and wet polar air mass that would cause a drop in the temperatures and the fall of\u00a0thundershowers in different areas and snow on the mountains.<\/p>\n
He added that the weather will become stable on\u00a0Friday afternoon and the temperatures will rise.<\/p>\n
