Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) signed on Monday a joint cooperation document to support reproductive healthcare services and family planning till the end of 2015.<\/p>\n
According to the document, UNFPA continues to deliver technical support for the ministry’s programs related to reproductive health and outline family planning methods until the end of current year.<\/p>\n
For his part, Health Minister Nizar Yazigi pointed out that the document came in the framework of the ministry’s strategic plans that aim to enhance and expand services and programs of reproductive health in addition to supporting the ministry’s efforts to enhance health services.<\/p>\n
Yazigi added that ministry will provide more mobile health teams to ensure that health services are delivered to all areas, particularly the ones afflicted by the current crisis.<\/p>\n
