Damascus, SANA- The General Authority for\u00a0Palestine Arab Refugees (GAPAR) and the United\u00a0Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine\u00a0Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), Supported by\u00a0the Syrian government and the Higher Relief\u00a0Committee, distributed on Monday food and health\u00a0baskets to Yarmouk Camp displaced people, who fled\u00a0the neighborhood to escape the crimes of the terrorist\u00a0organizations.<\/p>\n
Thousands of residents fled Yarmouk Camp after\u00a0terrorists from the Islamic State in Iraq and\u00a0Syria (ISIS) \u00a0entered it last April and committed\u00a0acts of killing and abduction against the\u00a0civilians there.<\/p>\n
The GAPAR Director Ali Mustafa told SANA that\u00a0about 1500 bread bags in addition to vegetables,\u00a0meat, water and other materials were distributed\u00a0among the displaced residing in Yalda, Babbila and\u00a0Beit Sahem towns in Damascus Countryside Province.<\/p>\n
Mustafa stressed that food and medical aid, food\u00a0supplements and other materials will continue to\u00a0be provided to the displaced people who are\u00a0staying in Zainab al-Hilaliye center in al-Tadamon\u00a0area will continue.<\/p>\n
Yarmouk neighborhood is a home to Syrian citizens\u00a0and a majority of Palestinians displaced from\u00a0their Israeli-occupied land, and has been besieged\u00a0by terrorist groups since 2012.<\/p>\n
