{"id":42488,"date":"2015-05-27T22:04:04","date_gmt":"2015-05-27T19:04:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=42488"},"modified":"2015-05-28T12:15:30","modified_gmt":"2015-05-28T09:15:30","slug":"eyoun-al-wadi-with-a-hundred-springs-a-special-destination-for-nature-lovers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=42488","title":{"rendered":"Eyoun al-Wadi village, a special\u00a0destination for nature lovers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Homs, SANA Endowed with gorgeous nature and many\u00a0freshwater springs, the village of Eyoun al-Wadi (the valley&#8217;s springs) is a special\u00a0destination for nature lovers.<\/p>\n<p>The village, which is located between the\u00a0provinces of Homs, Hama and Tartous, is surrounded with a number of hills from which more\u00a0than a hundred springs flow, mainly, Ein al-Deiaa, Ein al-Halaj, Abu Othman, al-Basal, al-Fawarand Ein al-Kasoumeh among others.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/eyoun-al-wadi1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-42491 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/eyoun-al-wadi1-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"eyoun al-wadi1\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/eyoun-al-wadi1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/eyoun-al-wadi1.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Rising about 650 meters above sea level, Eyoun al-Wadi enjoys a moderate atmosphere in summer, engineer Hanna Hanna said.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to SANA, he added that the village is\u00a0encircled by mountains covered with forests of oak, laurel, terebinth, sycamore and poplar.<\/p>\n<p>The village&#8217;s residents plant fruitful trees, like\u00a0apples, peaches, pears, cherries, figs and grapes, in addition to cultivating Wheat and\u00a0barley.<\/p>\n<p>The population of the village is estimated at\u00a03000. The village is known for its high educational level as it had its first primary\u00a0school opened in 1926.<\/p>\n<p>H. Zain\/ H.
