Damascus, SANA Prime Minister Wael al-Halaqi\u00a0stressed to a delegation of local figures from Daraa the great attention the government pays\u00a0to the development, livelihood and services situation in the province, located in\u00a0southern Syria.<\/p>\n
The government, he added, is interested in the\u00a0situation of those sectors in all the provinces and seeks to ensure balanced development\u00a0through overcoming obstacles and easing challenges.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister regularly holds meetings with\u00a0delegations from all the provinces to activate communication with all components of the\u00a0Syrian society and get acquainted with the needs and requirements of each province.<\/p>\n
The main issues that were discussed during today’s\u00a0meeting with the delegation from Daraa were the agricultural and animal situation and the\u00a0mechanisms to market agricultural products and crops, basically wheat, in addition\u00a0to the efforts to establish supporting industries in the province.<\/p>\n
A call to accelerate steps to achieve more local\u00a0reconciliations that are very helpful to consolidating security in the province was also on\u00a0the table.<\/p>\n
On this issue, members of the delegation said they\u00a0are determined to work on achieving reconciliations, expressing support for the Syrian\u00a0leadership and army in their efforts of fighting terrorism.<\/p>\n
The delegation included figures representing\u00a0various popular, religious, intellectual, party, commercial and agricultural sides in Daraa\u00a0province.<\/p>\n
