Homs, SANA- In appreciation of their sacrifices in defending the dignity and pride of the homeland, the General Federation of Trade Unions “GFTU” on Sunday honored 403 families of he working class martyrs in the central Homs province.<\/p>\n
A number of the martyrs’ relatives expressed pride in their relatives’ martyrdom and their belief that \u201ctheir blood will line the way of victory for the future generations, who will make Syria better than it was before.\u201d<\/p>\n
They stressed that the Syrians are one family in the face of the ordeals, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured and the victory for Syria.<\/p>\n
For his part, the GFTU Chairman Jamal al-Qadiri hailed sacrifices of the families of the working class martyrs who “teach us patience and resilience”, appreciating the sacrifices of the army and the armed forces’ personnel in the face of terrorism.<\/p>\n
He asserted that Syria will absolutely defeat terrorism through the steadfastness of its people, the sacrifices of the martyrs and the wisdom of its leadership.<\/p>\n
In a speech delivered on behalf of the martyrs’ relatives, Wife of Martyr Jean Romyia, Lama Sabbagh expressed pride in the martyrdom and sacrifices of the working class martyrs, affirming that their blood is a banner for the coming generations.<\/p>\n
