Lattakia, SANA \u2013 An art exhibition showcasing works made of leftover objects is being held at the Central Library at Tishreen University in Lattakia province.<\/p>\n

Artist Rana Zahlout, whose exhibition was held on the sidelines of a Scientific Environment Symposium, said she aims through her works to send a message of the importance to maintain environment and make optimal use of remnants of environment and household objects that are no longer of use.<\/p>\n

The exhibits included a large number of paintings and artistic products which are mostly a recreation of recycled paper, cardboard, cassette tapes, CDs, threads, cloths and empty glass bottles among other materials and coated with paints in a variety of bright colors.<\/p>\n
