Sweida, SANA Activities of Sweida Summer brings\u00a0us Together festival kicked off Saturday at\u00a0Qaysariye Shaqqa Square in Sweida Province.<\/p>\n

The 5-day festival includes cultural, artistic,\u00a0entertainment, sport activities and shopping\u00a0markets distributed to a number of areas.<\/p>\n

Those festivals, held by the Ministry of Tourism,\u00a0embody the Syrian people’s will of life,\u00a0resilience, steadfastness and intention to\u00a0continue the process of culture and civilization,\u00a0Assistance tourism Minister Reda Ziyadeh said at\u00a0the opening ceremony, adding that they also\u00a0contribute to activating internal tourism and\u00a0interaction of the local community.<\/p>\n

Referring to Sweida’s richness of archeological\u00a0and historical sites and tourist potentials,\u00a0Ziyadeh stressed that the Ministry will present 4\u00a0sites for tourist investment; including Sahwat al-\u00a0Balatah, Ateel, Shahba and Qermatah Palaces in<\/p>\n

Daher al-Jabal during the upcoming Tourist\u00a0Investment Forum scheduled on September.<\/p>\n

For his part, Director of A to Z Company for\u00a0Exhibition and Festivals Imad Bsharah said that\u00a0the festival aims at displaying the cultural image\u00a0of Syrian, particularly Sweida Province through\u00a0shedding the light on the customs and cultural
\ntraditions in the province in addition to the\u00a0unique archeological and tourist sites in it.<\/p>\n

Bsharah added that the festival was held in\u00a0coincidence with the Syrian Arab Army Day to show\u00a0appreciation of the sacrifices and heroism of this\u00a0army in defending the homeland against terrorism.<\/p>\n

The activities of the first day of the festival\u00a0included the opening of a shopping market,\u00a0traditional and folkloric shows, honoring\u00a0ceremonies of the martyrs families and the\u00a0excellent students of the preparatory and\u00a0secondary schools in addition to other various\u00a0activities.<\/p>\n

The festival was organized by the Ministry of\u00a0Tourism in cooperation with the A To Z Company for\u00a0Organizing Exhibitions and Festivals.<\/p>\n
