Damascus Countryside, SANA- Association A Better\u00a0Life for Syrian Children held in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs,\u00a0My Friend in my Crisis national initiative at Baider Nader Area in Damascus\u00a0Countryside.<\/p>\n

The initiative calls for guiding the children for\u00a0their right places to be, for playing, learning, warning of their existing at streets.<\/p>\n

“My Friend in my Crisis is a national initiative\u00a0aimes at attracting and guiding the children to the healthy places to practice their activities’,Minister of Social Affairs Kinda al-Shammat told SANA Saturda<\/p>\n

Terrorist organizations work for recruiting them,\u00a0depriving them from education and destroying their schools and future, while the\u00a0Syrian government, in cooperation with the civil society, work for restoring them and\u00a0improving their living conditions, She added.<\/p>\n

The initiative included theatrical shows for\u00a0children, folkloric dance and national songs.<\/p>\n

Asserting that this activity is a part of a\u00a0sustainable plan, the Minister asserted that the government would not allow recruiting of the\u00a0Syrian children by anybody and engaging them in areas of conflict.<\/p>\n

Director of the Association, Haiat Saad, in turn,\u00a0said that the initiative aims at offering health and social services for the children\u00a0through offering various artistic activities in order to enhance the social values, mainly amity,\u00a0cooperation and coexistence among them.<\/p>\n

More than 200 children participated in the\u00a0initiative in presence of representatives of the UN, UN Population Fund, the WHO and the Syrian\u00a0Family Planning Association.<\/p>\n

The Better Life for Syrian Children Association\u00a0started activities in 2014 in cooperation with the Ministry of social Affairs and Labor and\u00a0a number of international organizations.
