on\u00a0Sunday evening as the Syrian expatriate singer\u00a0Faia Younan started her first lyrical evening in\u00a0Damascus by Sham song for Lebanese poet Said\u00a0Aqel.<\/p>\n<p>Younan, born in Aleppo city and migrated to Sweden\u00a0since she was a child, released her first song\u00a0earlier in 2015, which gained hundreds of\u00a0thousands of viewers on YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, she shared her elder sister Rihan in\u00a0releasing a joint lyrical song titled \/ For my\u00a0Homeland \/ which was viewed by more than two\u00a0million people on YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>Expressing her pleasure to sing in her homeland\u00a0for her people, Younan said We sing with the hope\u00a0that peace prevails all over our beloved\u00a0homeland&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Attended by Minister of Culture Isam Khalil, the\u00a0evening included a wide combination of national\u00a0and emotional songs, as Younan managed to touch\u00a0the deep feelings of the Syrian youths who\u00a0gathered to attend the evening.<\/p>\n<p>Younan concluded her evening by chanting My\u00a0Homeland song then she was honored by We\u00a0(Nahna) Cultural Association.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-50934
