{"id":51465,"date":"2015-08-15T16:56:09","date_gmt":"2015-08-15T13:56:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=51465"},"modified":"2015-08-15T16:56:09","modified_gmt":"2015-08-15T13:56:09","slug":"pass-rates-in-supplementary-baccalaureate-certificate-exams-mark-noticeable-increase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=51465","title":{"rendered":"Pass rates in supplementary Baccalaureate\u00a0certificate exams mark noticeable increase"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Damascus, SANA &#8211; The pass rates in the\u00a0supplementary and second exams of the<br \/>\nBaccalaureate (Secondary School) certificate of the 2015 study\u00a0year reached 79.60 % in the scientific branch and 60.53 % in the literary branch.<\/p>\n<p>The exam results were announced on Saturday by the\u00a0Ministry of Education.<\/p>\n<p>Minister Hazwan al-Waz said at a press conference\u00a0that 49,368 out of the 62,018 students who took the exams of the scientific branch passed.<\/p>\n<p>In the literary branch, 25,225 students passed out\u00a0of 41,674.<\/p>\n<p>In the Sharia (religious education) Secondary\u00a0School certificate, the Minister said the exam pass rate reached 72.24 % as 598 students took the\u00a0exams and 432 of them passed.<\/p>\n<p>The supplementary exams were held on 26 July, with\u00a0the pass rates marking a noticeable increase compared to the first session, announced\u00a0in July 5, in which the pass rates reached 68.86 in the scientific branch and 52.93 in the\u00a0literary branch.<\/p>\n<p>H.
