{"id":52784,"date":"2015-08-27T11:14:01","date_gmt":"2015-08-27T08:14:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=52784"},"modified":"2015-08-27T11:48:40","modified_gmt":"2015-08-27T08:48:40","slug":"salute-to-the-soul-of-archeologist-khaled-al-asaad-photo-exhibition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=52784","title":{"rendered":"\u00a0Salute to the soul of archeologist Khaled\u00a0al-Asaad Photo exhibition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hama, SANA A photo exhibition was organized\u00a0Wednesday at Masyaf Cultural Center dubbed A salute to the soul of Archeologist Khaled al-Asaad, who was beheaded by the ISIS terrorists in Palmyra recently.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition included about 50 photos embodying\u00a0the most prominent heritage and cultural sites and unique natural destinations in Syria.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/al-assad2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-52786 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/al-assad2-300x160.jpg\" alt=\"al-assad2\" width=\"300\" height=\"160\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/al-assad2-300x160.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/al-assad2.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Exhibition was organized by Masyaf Antiquities\u00a0Association in cooperation with the Center within the activities of the Association&#8217;s\u00a0first Cultural Festival and in the framework of the UN Education, Scientific and\u00a0Cultural, Organization (UNESCO) Campaign titled &#8216;United with Heritage&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition managed to convey a massage on the\u00a0beauty of Syria and to document the heritage and historical sites in it, Deputy\u00a0Chairman of Masyaf antiquities association Munzer Atfeh said, indicating the damage affected\u00a0those sites at the hands of the terrorist organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Participants stressed that the exhibition aimed at\u00a0conveying a message to the whole world that Syria is a country of deep-rooted history and\u00a0whatever terrorists have done will not erase those aestheticism and ancient heritage.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/al-assad3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-52787 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/al-assad3-300x160.jpg\" alt=\"al-assad3\" width=\"300\" height=\"160\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/al-assad3-300x160.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/al-assad3.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The one-week festival includes various cultural\u00a0activities.<br \/>\nH.
