Damascus, SANA Syrian expatriates’ fashion\u00a0designer Manal Ajaj in cooperation with cosmetic expert Rose Araiji held a fashion show within an\u00a0artistic activity under the title Childhood is a Life at Khan Asa’ad Basha in Damascus, in\u00a0support of Basmaa Association for the children\u00a0with cancer.<\/p>\n
The activity included a charity bazar for the\u00a0dresses and pieces of art and songs.<\/p>\n
Ajaj told SANA Saturday she has chosen the name of\u00a0the Smile of Jasmine for her show to create joy and smile on the face of the Children with\u00a0Cancer and to stand by them under the critical situation Syria is passing through.<\/p>\n
The Syrian designer pointed out that the show is a\u00a0message and an invitation for everybody to participate in supporting those children and\u00a0backing them to recover.<\/p>\n
For her part, Eraiji pointed out that the activity\u00a0is a message to the whole world that life in Syria didn’t stop and won’t stop.<\/p>\n
Basma Civil Association works since 2005 on\u00a0improving the health and social situation of children with cancer through offering remedy and\u00a0moral and psychological support to them during the treatment period.<\/p>\n
The Association works on offering financial\u00a0support to the families of those children as well\u00a0as supporting the children’s cancer treatment units\u00a0in Syria to improve the reality of the medical services provided for them.<\/p>\n
