{"id":53284,"date":"2015-09-01T11:23:31","date_gmt":"2015-09-01T08:23:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=53284"},"modified":"2015-09-01T11:29:40","modified_gmt":"2015-09-01T08:29:40","slug":"cherry-messages-film-represents-syria-among-23-films-from-17-arab-countries-in-alexandria-film-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=53284","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Cherry Messages&#8221; film, represents Syria among 23\u00a0films from 17 Arab Countries in Alexandria Film Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Damascus, SANA The Syrian long-narrative Cherry\u00a0Messages film runs the competition of the 31st Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean\u00a0Countries, scheduled in Alexandria, Egypt from 2 to 8 September.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Directed by Syrian Actress Sulaf Fawakherji,\u00a0written by Nidal Qushha and acted by Ghassan Massoud, the Cherry Messages film narrates a\u00a0romantic love story between Syrian young man and girl from the occupied Syrian Golan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The story highlighted many prominent phases in the\u00a0temporary history of Syria following the independence in 1946, the setback of June war\u00a01967, October Liberation War in 1973, up till the events of 2013.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/massoud.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-53286 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/massoud-300x160.jpg\" alt=\"massoud\" width=\"300\" height=\"160\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/massoud-300x160.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/massoud.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Syrian critic and director of the Syrian\u00a0Television and Radio General Production Company\u00a0Diana Jabbour will chair the Jury Committee of the Short\u00a0Film Competition of the Festival which will be kicked off from 3 to 9 of September.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The committee encompasses along with Jabbor,\u00a0Moroccan director Mohsen Basri, Palestinian Faiq Jaradeh, Algerian Mohammd Zqawi and Egyptian Actor\u00a0Amr Youssf.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some 23 films representing 17 Arab Countries will\u00a0take part in the Festival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Logo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-53288 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Logo-300x160.jpg\" alt=\"Logo\" width=\"300\" height=\"160\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Logo-300x160.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Logo.jpg 620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Festival is organized by the Egyptian\u00a0Association of Film Writers and Critics (EAFWC)\u00a0and sponsored by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture in\u00a0cooperation with Alexandria Governorate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is an annual event which aims to disseminate\u00a0film culture and the progress achieved in various branches of film art and to strength the\u00a0relations among filmmakers throughout the world in general and Mediterranean countries in\u00a0particular.<br \/>\nH.
