{"id":53708,"date":"2015-09-05T14:50:31","date_gmt":"2015-09-05T11:50:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sana.sy\/en\/?p=53708"},"modified":"2015-09-21T16:37:54","modified_gmt":"2015-09-21T13:37:54","slug":"from-palmyra-to-damascus-forum-for-arts-and-innovation-kicks-off-tomorrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=53708","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;From Palmyra to Damascus&#8221; Forum for Arts and Innovation kicks off tomorrow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Damascus, SANA \u2013 The 5th edition of the National Forum for Art and Innovation, held by the Ministry of Tourism, kicks off on Sunday under the title of &#8220;From Palmyra to Damascus&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Forum, researcher Taj-Eddin al-Mohammad, told SANA that the event will see the statue of Zenobia, Queen of Palmyra, being relocated and placed in al-Umawiyeen Square in Damascus.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the Forum, which will run through September 9th, also includes a photo exhibition on the terrorists&#8217; crimes against Syria&#8217;s cultural heritage and historical treasures, a folkloric fashion show and documentaries about the Syrian civilization.<\/p>\n<p>A film highlighting the life course and remarkable achievements of Palmyra archeologist Khaled al-Asaad who recently was beheaded by the Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS) will also be screened.<\/p>\n<p>R.
