Damascus, SANA- Four million school students are\u00a0due to be back to about 15, 000 schools Sunday,\u00a0where the new school year starts as of today Sep.\u00a013th 2015 in the country.<\/p>\n
The start of the new school year emphasizes Syrian\u00a0people’s will to face the terrorist war waged\u00a0against their homeland, Minister of Education\u00a0Hazwan al-Waz said in a letter posted at the\u00a0Ministry of Education’s website.<\/p>\n
Al-Waz added that the Ministry’s educational\u00a0cadres care for ensuring the appropriate\u00a0atmosphere for the students, including the schools\u00a0vicinities, books and educational means, to make\u00a0the educational process a success.<\/p>\n
The Minister appreciated the sacrifices of the\u00a0educational cadre, mainly the teachers who spare\u00a0no efforts to make the educational process\u00a0continues.<\/p>\n
Hailing the Ministry’s insistence on performing\u00a0its duty towards the students and their families,\u00a0al-Waz elaborated that the Ministry was able to\u00a0develop and amend its curricula, rehabilitate a\u00a0number of teachers and improve the educational\u00a0performance on all levels, emerging from its\u00a0belief that the educational cadre is the genuine
\nsupporter of the Syrian Arab Army in defending the\u00a0homeland.<\/p>\n
He reiterated the necessity of understanding the\u00a0current challenges facing the educational sector\u00a0in Syria during the crisis, mainly the problem of\u00a0the students’ density in some classes due to the\u00a0terrorists’ destruction of scores of schools and\u00a0the residence of the displaced families in others.<\/p>\n
