\nNew York, SANA -Syria’s Permanent Representative\u00a0to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari said it is impossible to fight terrorism without coordinating\u00a0with the legitimate government in Syria and the Syrian Arab Army.<\/p>\n
Commenting on the French air strikes in Syria, al-Jaafari told the Russian News Agency (TASS) correspondent that French President Francois\u00a0Hollande didn’t coordinate those procedures with President Bashar al-Assad.. The French army
\nbehaved without concordance with the Syrian armed forces.<\/p>\n
Syria’s Representative to the UN added that\u00a0fighting terrorism is impossible without
\ncooperation with the legitimate government in Syria and the\u00a0Syrian Arab Army, and that is exactly what the Russian President Vladimir Putin has meant when he\u00a0described the Syrian Army as the only legitimate army which should be dealt with in\u00a0combating terrorism.<\/p>\n
France has no right in fighting terrorism\u00a0unilaterally even it was a member of the so-called\u00a0the alliance, al-Jaafari said, adding that this\u00a0alliance is an American one, but not an international alliance and it isn’t based on a UN\u00a0Security Council resolution and not unanimously backed .<\/p>\n
In the same context, sources told TASS that office\u00a0of the Secretary General of the UN was not informed about French strikes.<\/p>\n
Over Hollande’s statement on that “President al-Assad has no role in the future of Syria”, al- Jaafari said .. that by calling to change the\u00a0regime, “Hollande contradicts the UN Charter.. Such words show ignorance; mainly they were\u00a0uttered at the UN headquarters.<\/p>\n
Addressing the 2015 UN Sustainable Development\u00a0Summit on Saturday, al-Jaafari said that terrorism is burning up everything all around and\u00a0wiping out all the achievements made by the Syrians towards achieving development and Syria’s
\neconomy, infrastructure, resources, its youth’s potentials and civilization are all
\njeopardized by terrorism.<\/p>\n
Also, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria\u00a0Zakharova underlined earlier that the French air strikes, without authorisation of the UN\u00a0Security Council and the approval f the legitimate\u00a0government of the country, violate the\u00a0international law.<\/p>\n
