Damascus, SANA – Ministry of Tourism launched on\u00a0Sunday the activities of the World Tourism Day, organized under the title “I Belong to Syria\u2026I\u00a0Belong to the Future”.<\/p>\n

The event started with a number of workshops on\u00a0marketing and promotion skills and tourism media.<\/p>\n

Students and graduates from the Faculty of Tourism\u00a0and representatives of the Hotel & Tourism Training Center participated in the workshops, at\u00a0the end of which they signed the longest letter of loyalty to the homeland and its leader.<\/p>\n

The letter is 10 km long and the signatures\u00a0covered more than its half after it has toured\u00a0several provinces.<\/p>\n

The Tourism Day also included an activity for cleaning the stream of Barada River, which\u00a0witnessed a wide popular, official and civil participation,\u00a0in addition to launching a campaign dubbed “Syria\u2026More Beautiful” to draw and decorate the\u00a0pillars of al-Rais Bridge in cooperation with the Plastic Artists Union.\"111111\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Activities will continue throughout the day at\u00a0different sites in Damascus City, as there will be\u00a0a Chef Competition at Dama Rose Hotel, photo\u00a0exhibitions, artistic shows and tourism promotion
\nfilms, in addition to signing cooperation agreements with\u00a0different bodies and honoring tourism and youth figures in the framework of a ceremony at Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts.<\/p>\n
