Tehran, SANA- Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister\u00a0for the Arab and African affairs Hussein Amir Abdullahian stressed that any plan, that is\u00a0characterized with realism, for solving the crisis\u00a0in Syria should consider the main factors, including\u00a0the Syrian people and leadership as well as the serious fight of terrorism to be more\u00a0comprehensive and effective.<\/p>\n
Abdullahian voiced, in a meeting with UN Under\u00a0Secretary General Jan Eliason in Tehran on Monday,\u00a0Tehran’s support for the political solution\u00a0presented by UN special envoy for Syria Staffan de\u00a0Mistura to politically resolve the crisis in
\nSyrian.<\/p>\n
Earlier on September, de Mistura, set out to the\u00a0Council a new approach based on the formation of four thematic working groups to work for holding\u00a0dialogue among all Syrian parties.<\/p>\n
Earlier this month, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign\u00a0and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Mouallem announced before the UN 70th General Assembly\u00a0Syria’s agreement to participate in the four brainstorming committees of experts proposed by De
\nMistura whose role he said is mainly to exchange ideas and conduct unbinding preliminary\u00a0consultations whose agreed-upon outputs can be\u00a0used to prepare for the launching of Geneva 3.<\/p>\n
Eliason, for his part, underlined the need for\u00a0following up political solutions to the regional crises, and called for increased efforts of all\u00a0sides to help resolve the political crises in\u00a0Syria and Yemen.<\/p>\n
