Warsaw, SANA- The Syrian economic delegation,\u00a0headed by Assistant Minister of Industry Nidal Fallouh, currently visiting Poland, discussed\u00a0Wednesday with Christina Goubril, Deputy President\u00a0of the Polish Agricultural Market Agency (Agencja\u00a0Rynku Rolnego)(ARR) prospects of economic cooperation, especially in the agricultural sector\u00a0between the two countries.<\/p>\n

Goubril expressed the Agency’s care for opening\u00a0new markets for Polish agricultural products outside the countries of the European Union,\u00a0including Syria.<\/p>\n

She pointed out that the Syrian markets are\u00a0promising ones, asserting that restoring security\u00a0and stability to Syria would create suitable\u00a0circumstances in consolidating cooperation ties\u00a0between Syria and Poland, mainly in the agricultural\u00a0field.<\/p>\n

Goubril showed the Agency’s readiness to provide\u00a0the Syrian side with its expertise in the agricultural marketing field.<\/p>\n

She invited the Syrian side to participate in the\u00a0agricultural equipment fair, scheduled in next March in Poland.<\/p>\n

For his part, Fallouh stressed the existence of\u00a0wide promising prospects of cooperation between\u00a0the two sides, mainly in the industrial-agricultural
\nproductions, like cotton and sugar-beet and other products.<\/p>\n

Fallouh called upon the Polish businessmen to\u00a0establish joint projects and companies with their Syrian counterparts, particularly in the\u00a0agricultural equipment domain, as the polish side\u00a0has big expertise in this domain.<\/p>\n

Charge d’ Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Warsaw\u00a0Idris Mayya, in turn, hailed the importance of the Syrian economic delegation’s visit to Warsaw\u00a0in activating the cooperation relations between the two countries, mainly in the agricultural\u00a0field.<\/p>\n

Mayya expressed the Embassy’s readiness to\u00a0facilitate communication between representatives\u00a0of the two Chambers of Commerce and Industry and\u00a0businessmen of both countries.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, representatives of the Syrian Chambers\u00a0stressed the importance of holding joint fairs in the two countries which would contribute in\u00a0marketing their agricultural and industrial productions.<\/p>\n

In the same context, the Syrian economic\u00a0delegation met President of the Board of Directors\u00a0of Huawei S.A. Crop. Company Powell Sopko, who showed\u00a0readiness to provide the Syrian side with its expertise in the field of communication.<\/p>\n

Sopko pointed out that his company has big\u00a0expertise in the Network linkage processes between\u00a0banks according to its own high-tech programs.<\/p>\n

Fallouh said that the Syrian government plans to\u00a0establish an optical fiber company, expressing readiness to cooperate with Huawei Company in\u00a0establishing a joint company in this domain.<\/p>\n

For their part, members of the Syrian delegation\u00a0reviewed the reality of the telecommunication sector in Syria in light of the big damage\u00a0affected it due to the attacks of the terrorist organizations, asserting that this sector needs\u00a0maintenance and reconstruction which opens new prospects of cooperation between the two sides in
\nthis domain.<\/p>\n

The Syrian economic delegation started on Monday a\u00a0visit to Poland upon the invitation of its chamber of Industry and Commerce, and it met Polish economic activities discussing prospects of\u00a0economic and investment cooperation between the
