Damascus, SANA- Speaker of the People’s Assembly\u00a0Mohammad Jihad al-Laham stressed the important\u00a0role of the Syrian communities in conveying the\u00a0fact of what is happening in Syria and the\u00a0terrorist war being waged against it for about\u00a0five years in addition to their role in the\u00a0reconstructing what the terrorist organizations\u00a0destroyed.<\/p>\n
During his meeting with the delegation of Syrian\u00a0community in Russia on Sunday, al-Laham pointed\u00a0out that the government exerts all efforts in\u00a0maintaining the basic requirements of the\u00a0citizens, mainly food and medicine, and improving\u00a0the service situation which was damaged due to the\u00a0terror of the armed organizations.<\/p>\n
The Syrian-Russian cooperation in the field of\u00a0fighting terrorism since less than a month has\u00a0resulted in big victories in the field by the\u00a0Syrian Arab Army and consecutive defeats among the\u00a0ranks of the terrorist organizations, the Speaker
\nsaid, asserting that the international alliance,\u00a0led by the US, has proven its failure following\u00a0more than a year of its formation because it is no\u00a0more than a formal and misleading alliance.<\/p>\n
Chairman of the Syrian community in Russia, Wael\u00a0Jnaid, in turn, hailed the Syrian people’s\u00a0resilience in facing the terrorist war and the\u00a0valor of the champions of the Syrian army and\u00a0their determination to restore security and\u00a0stability to their homeland.<\/p>\n
Jnaid expressed all members of the Syrian\u00a0community’s readiness to participate in the
\nreconstruction of their homeland, reiterating that\u00a0as Syria will remain the cradle of civilization,\u00a0amity, coexistence and peace.<\/p>\n
Today’s meeting came within the framework of the\u00a0delegation’s series of meetings scheduled with\u00a0senior Syrian officials, while the delegation\u00a0launched a campaign for supporting the Syrian\u00a0pound at the Commercial Bank of Syria on October\u00a020th.
