Rome, SANA Talks of the 3rd International Forum\u00a0of the Middle East Policies in the Italian city of Cagliari, concentrated on the\u00a0importance of the war against terrorism in Syria and means of facing the misleading and\u00a0fabricated news adopted by the western mass media.<\/p>\n
The forum was organized by the Italian-Arab Center\u00a0for Friendship in cooperation with the national Forum for Peace in Syria on Monday.<\/p>\n
Head of the Center Raymundo Schiavone stressed the\u00a0center’s role in uncovering the mysteries of the crisis in Syria, calling Europe\u00a0for playing a role in the crisis in Syria by helping Italian journalists to go to\u00a0Damascus and convey the truth of what is going there.<\/p>\n
Rome Melkite Archimandrite Father Mtanios Haddad,\u00a0stressed importance of Syria’s historical and cultural role, hailing the\u00a0coexistence and unity among all spectrums of its people.<\/p>\n
Haddad reiterated the need of facing the\u00a0conspiracy hatched against Syria and all attempts of displacing the Syrians with the aim of\u00a0evacuating the Middle East of its Christians.<\/p>\n
He condemned the European countries’ contradicted\u00a0stances in dealing with the crisis of Syria, through imposing sanctions on the Syrian\u00a0people, asserting the importance of supporting the Syrian army, people and leadership\u00a0for protecting Syria’s sovereignty and security.<\/p>\n
For his part, Iraqi Ambassador to Vatican Habib\u00a0Mohammd Hadi al-Sader stressed, in a letter addressed to the Forum, the importance of\u00a0unifying efforts and supporting the two Iraqi and Syrian armies in facing terrorism\u00a0endangering the regional and international peace and security.<\/p>\n
Accusing European Union of committing lots of\u00a0mistakes in dealing with the Middle East issues, President of Sardinia Bank Antonell\u00a0Caprice called the EU for playing an active role in finding solutions to the crisis in Syria\u00a0and Iraq.<\/p>\n
