Moscow SANA- Grand Mufti Dr. Ahmad Bader Hassoun\u00a0hailed the honorable stances of the Russian people\u00a0and leadership in supporting the Syrian people and\u00a0leadership in fighting terrorism.<\/p>\n

Addressing a symposium held in Moscow on Tuesday\u00a0under the title Islam and the crisis of the\u00a0global religious ideology Hassoun reiterated the\u00a0necessity of spreading the facts that religions\u00a0are created for building bridges among peoples and\u00a0holding good relations among them.<\/p>\n

The Symposium, which was organized by the Russian\u00a0Institute for Strategic Studies (RISS) and Dar al-\u00a0Fatwa in Moscow, discussed the issue of educating\u00a0the youths for confronting the fundamental\u00a0religious ideologies.<\/p>\n

The participants in the event proposed holding a\u00a0conference for the Islamic and Christian\u00a0clergymen.<\/p>\n

There cannot be a religious state, because God\u00a0did not create states, but human, the Grand Mufti\u00a0said.<\/p>\n

Meeting Hassoun, Moscow’s Mufti Albert Krganov\u00a0showed support to the Russian authorities’ stances\u00a0in offering military aid to Syria in fighting\u00a0terrorism under the leadership of president Bashar\u00a0al-Assad.<\/p>\n

Krganov awarded Hassoun an honorary medal in\u00a0appreciation of his services in developing and\u00a0enhancing cooperation among the peoples.<\/p>\n

The Grand Mufti thanked His Holiness Patriarch\u00a0Kirill of Moscow and All Russia for his efforts in\u00a0supporting the oppressed people and in facing the\u00a0systematic international terrorism targeting\u00a0Syria.<\/p>\n

Hassoun said Syria is an ancient cultural country\u00a0which has deep-rooted and historical ties with its\u00a0friends, mainly the Russian people who believe in\u00a0the noble values of the mankind and the right of\u00a0the peoples in determining their fate along with\u00a0maintaining the values and norms of religions.<\/p>\n

He added that Syrian people are enjoying a civil\u00a0national unity along with maintaining the moderate\u00a0religious faith which believes in the right of\u00a0each one in choosing his belief with no obligation\u00a0as the Takfiries do.<\/p>\n

Syria’s ambassador in Moscow Riyad Haddad, in\u00a0turn, warned against the dangers of the spreading\u00a0of the Takfiri terrorism on the national security\u00a0of all the countries of the world without any\u00a0exceptions, indicating that eliminating terrorism\u00a0require unifying all efforts.<\/p>\n
