Provinces, SANA – Army units continued on Wednesday a crackdown on terrorists across the country, repelling infiltration attempts and destroying hideouts and weaponry.<\/p>\n
A military source told SANA that army unit repelled an attempt by an armed terrorist group which tried to sneak to al-Alam roundabout in Quneitra<\/span>, killing several of its members and wounding others.<\/p>\n In Damascus Countryside<\/span>, the army foiled terrorists’ attempts to attack military checkpoints in al-Teiba and Ein al-Baida in al-Kuswa, killing and injuring a number of terrorists.<\/p>\n Army units carried out a series of concentrated operations in Douma area, resulting in the elimination of 18 terrorists and the injuring of others from the so-called “Islamic Front” and “Islam Army” east of the town of Misraba, in addition to destroying their weapons and equipment, while a number of terrorists were killed in al-Ebb and al-Ashari farms.<\/p>\n In Adra Workers City, ten terrorists were killed and a car equipped with a heavy machinegun was destroyed, while terrorist hideouts and gatherings were destroyed in the town of Jisrin north of al-Mleiha, resulting in the death and injuring of many terrorists.<\/p>\n A terrorist hideout was destroyed in Daraya town, resulting in deaths and injuries among terrorists, while an army unit destroyed a terrorist gathering in the town of al-Zabadani, eliminating many terrorists in the process.<\/p>\n Army units continued pursuing terrorists in the wilderness around Ras al-Maara and Assal al-Ward in al-Qalamoun area on the Syrian-Lebanese borders, eliminating several terrorists and destroying their weapons, vehicles and equipment.<\/p>\n Another unit destroyed terrorist hideouts along with the weapons and ammo inside them in the farms of Khan al-Sheih and Mugher al-Mir.<\/p>\n In Idleb<\/span> countryside, an army unit killed terrorists who attempted to attack a military checkpoint in al-Hamidieh area.<\/p>\n A military source said that the army targeted a terrorist group in al-Teiba town, killing and injuring all of the group’s members, among them a Qatari terrorist and destroyed a vehicle equipped with heavy machinegun and an ammunition warehouse.<\/p>\n The army also targeted a terrorist group in al-Hajjah town in Quneitra countryside, killing and injuring all of the group’s members and destroying a vehicle.<\/p>\n The source said the army repelled terrorists who tried to attack a number of military checkpoints in the areas of al-Zibeida and Rasm Halba and killed and injured scores of the assailants.<\/p>\n The army units also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of Kifr Shalaya, al-Syraitel, Majdalya and Tal Deenet, killing and injuring many of terrorists and a destroying a number of their vehicles.<\/p>\n In Homs<\/span> eastern countryside, the army units targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of Ounq al-Hawa, Rahoum, Salam Sharqi, and al-Sultanyeh and killed a number of terrorists, among them was Ahmad Hamsho.<\/p>\n The army also killed and injured scores of terrorists in Oun Sharshouh, Talbeseh, Hannoura and al-Rastan.<\/p>\n Meanwhile in Aleppo<\/span>, army units pushed ahead with operations against terrorists’ dens in several neighborhoods and towns, inflicting heavy losses on them.<\/p>\n According to a military source, army units prevented an armed group from sneaking from al-Mansoura in the direction of Benyamin and killed all of its members.<\/p>\n Army units pummeled terrorists’ gatherings in Daret Azzeh, Ratyan, al-Zerbeh, al-Shaikh Ahmad, Kowayers, al-Atareb, al-Castillo, Bayanoun, Deir Jammal, al-Jadidah, al-Bab, Tal Rif’at, Hraitan, Mare’, Azaz, al-Ouija, Tal Shair, Mariamin and al-Hader in Aleppo countryside, inflicting severe losses.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that an army unit targeted terrorists who were planting explosive devices in Inkhel town in Daraa<\/span> countryside, killing and injuring a number of them.<\/p>\n The army units killed a number of terrorists in al-Yadouda residential area and al-Yadouda-Daraa highway and foiled terrorists’ attempt to infiltrate al-Ghuzlan farms from Otman town.<\/p>\n The army also killed a number of terrorists in the areas of al-Mzeireeb and Jaba and destroyed a convoy of several vehicles on Jasem-Nimr road.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the army units clashed with terrorist groups in many areas in Daraa al-Balad, killing and injuring a number of the terrorists.<\/p>\n In Deir Ezzor<\/span>, the army targeted terrorists’ gatherings in Houyjat Sakar, killing and injuring scores of terrorists and destroying their equipment.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, in Hama<\/span> province, a source at the Police Command told SANA reporter that a car bomb exploded while terrorists were preparing it, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others, in addition to destroying a number of vehicles equipped with heavy machineguns.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Provinces, SANA – Army units continued on Wednesday a crackdown on terrorists across the country, repelling infiltration attempts and destroying hideouts and weaponry.
