Moscow, SANA \u2013 Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif continued discussing the prospects of political settlement in Syria.<\/p>\n
The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that during a phone call initiated by the Russian side, Lavrov and Zarif said international players should support inter-Syrian talks in order to reach a settlement to the crisis rather than try to decide the results of those talks preemptively.<\/p>\n
On a relevant note, Spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova denied the reports by some media outlets which alleged that Russia is preparing suggestions for a project about settling crisis in Syria which would be presented in the next Vienna meeting, with her saying in a press statement that these reports are not in line with reality.<\/p>\n
