Moscow, SANA- Russian President’s Special\u00a0Representative for the Middle East and African Countries and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail\u00a0Bogdanov said Sunday that Moscow does not view Lebanese Hezbollah Party, Palestinian Hamas\u00a0Movement and the Kurdish Democratic Union Party of\u00a0Syria as\u00a0terrorist organizations.<\/p>\n
The Kurdish Democratic Union Party represents the\u00a0Syrian Kurds, Bogdanov added in a statement on Sunday, adding..with regard to the\u00a0Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) there is disagreement over it not only between Russia and\u00a0Turkey, but also between Turkey and the US, which are members of NATO yet there are\u00a0differences between them, and how it is about us.<\/p>\n
Some say Hezbollah is a terrorist organization.\u00a0We maintain contacts and relations with the party because we do not consider it a\u00a0terrorist organization as the party was legally elected by the Lebanese people to the\u00a0Parliament and there are cabinet members and ministers from the party.. It is a legitimate\u00a0sociopolitical force, Bogdanov was quoted as saying.<\/p>\n
Bogdanov said Russia also does not consider Hamas\u00a0a terrorist organization, as the American consider it, but as a part of the\u00a0spectrum of the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n
There is two levels for discussions on the\u00a0terrorist organization, one is an international Global level and the other is a\u00a0national level, we consider some organizations as terrorist, while others consider\u00a0them as non-terrorist and vise versa, he said.<\/p>\n
Bogdanov pointed out that Russia proposed 7 or 8\u00a0organizations to be enrolled in the terrorist organizations list, affirming that no\u00a0one doubts about enlisting the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), Jabhat al-Nusra\u00a0and the so-called Jaish al-Islam could be added to them.<\/p>\n
Last Saturday, Bogdanov said that Moscow and\u00a0Washington have exchanged lists of the terrorist organizations in Syria, asserting that\u00a0the Russian and American lists are identical.
