Provinces, SANA – Army operations against armed terrorist groups continued on Saturday at a high pace, with the army units clamping down hard on the terrorists’ gatherings and dens in various areas ripping their ranks apart.<\/p>\n
Units of the armed forces killed numbers of terrorists and wounded others as they targeted their gatherings in the areas of Nahleh and Maaret al-Numan in the countryside of Idleb<\/span>.<\/p>\n More terrorists were killed or injured as army units targeted their gatherings in M’arbelit, M’artab’I, Kfarrouma and Talmanas in the countryside.<\/p>\n In Homs<\/span>, army units targeted several of the terrorists’ gatherings in Taldo in the countryside of al-Houleh area and in Deir Foul and Ez-Eddin in Talbiseh and in Abo Hwadid, Arshouneh and Um Sahrij.<\/p>\n The operations resulted in the death of numbers of terrorists and the destruction of their vehicles, some equipped with heavy machine guns.<\/p>\n An army unit thwarted an attempt by an armed terrorist group to infiltrate into a military post in Bait Taima town in Damascus<\/span>\u00a0Countryside<\/span>, leaving its members killed and wounded.<\/p>\n The army units targeted terrorists in the areas of Douma and Adra al-Balad, killing a number of them and destroying their gathering, among the killed terrorists were Yaseen Burbul and Abdul-Aziz al-Saydawi.<\/p>\n The army units clashed with terrorist groups in al-Mleiha and Ein Tirma and killed scores of the groups’ members.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the army continued operations in the areas of al-Zabadani and al-Qalamoun, where the army targeted and destroyed a number of terrorists’ gatherings and destroying their weaponry and equipment, scores of terrorists were killed in the process, among them were Ali Irsali and Jamil al-Abd.<\/p>\n An army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group in Khan al-Sheeh and killed and injured a number of the group’s members.<\/p>\n Army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in a number of towns in the countryside of Damascus and Quneitra<\/span>, destroying their criminal tools and vehicles.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that the army targeted terrorists’ gatherings in al-Taranja and Ein al-Darb in Quneitra countryside, killing a number of them and destroying their weapons and ammunition.<\/p>\n Other infiltration attempts into a number of military posts in the vicinity of al-Lairamon and orphanage in Aleppo<\/span> were foiled.<\/p>\n Army units also targeted terrorists’ gatherings in the areas of Deir Jammal, al-Na’naei Square , Bashkwi, Daret Izzeh and Aftomashin in the city and countryside of Aleppo.
