{"id":63495,"date":"2015-12-05T12:47:21","date_gmt":"2015-12-05T09:47:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=63495"},"modified":"2015-12-05T12:47:21","modified_gmt":"2015-12-05T09:47:21","slug":"information-minister-arabsat-decision-to-stop-al-manar-broadcasting-politicized-and-unfair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=63495","title":{"rendered":"Information Minister: ARABSAT decision to stop al-Manar broadcasting &#8220;politicized and unfair&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Damascus, SANA- Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi described a decision by ARABSAT to stop\u00a0broadcasting Lebanese al-Manar TV Channel as\u00a0&#8220;politicized and violation of the contracts signed\u00a0with ARABSAT Administration.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Al-Zoubi, In a phone call with al-Manar, said that\u00a0such kind of decisions are expected by the\u00a0company , dominated by the Saudi regime, which has\u00a0previously stopped broadcasting the national\u00a0official media via ARABSAT.<\/p>\n<p>ARABSAT has stopped broadcasting Lebanon&#8217;s al-\u00a0Manar television channel, with the Beirut-based\u00a0station condemning the move as an attempt to\u00a0stifle the voice in the face of oppression.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement published on its website on Friday,\u00a0al-Manar said the Arab Satellite Communications\u00a0Organization (ASCO) blocked the broadcast of the\u00a0news channel via the ARABSAT satellite.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister pointed out that Israel celebrates\u00a0the blocking of the channel via ARABSAT which is\u00a0an evidence that this decision is unfair,\u00a0oppressive, dishonest and immoral.<\/p>\n<p>H.
