Aleppo, SANA \u2013 Aleppo Governor Mohammad Marwan Olabi discussed on Wednesday with the Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Syria Elizabeth Hoff developing medical services and enhancing cooperation for future plans.<\/p>\n

The health situation in Aleppo is good in terms of the services provided at hospitals and medical centers, Olabi said, pointing out that the medical centers in the areas that came under the army’s control need to be rehabilitated and re-equipped after they were vandalized and robbed by the terrorist organizations.<\/p>\n

The governor hailed the WHO cooperation and assistance to the parties concerned in Aleppo, noting that five ambulances provided by the organization will be given to Aleppo city.<\/p>\n

Hoff, in turn, affirmed that the organization will continue its health aid to the province, mainly in terms of emergency supplies, ambulances and medicines for chronic and psychological diseases.<\/p>\n

Hoff appreciated Aleppo health department’s experience in including psychological care in general health care services.<\/p>\n

In a relevant context, Health Minister Nizar Yazigi visited people injured by terrorist shilling attacks at al-Razi Hospital and other medical centers, noting in statements to the reporters that targeting Aleppo city with rockets and mortars by the terrorist organizations is a sign of these organizations’ “bankruptcy” as they are reeling under the strikes of the Syrian Arab army.<\/p>\n
