Homs\/ Daraa, SANA- In support of the Syrian Arab Army,\u00a0the 3rd batch of the self-protection squads was\u00a0graduated in Homs on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Some 650 fighters graduated from the one-week\u00a0course which aims at supporting stability and\u00a0security in the areas of their residence and work.<\/p>\n

Homs Governor Talal al-Barazi described the\u00a0graduation as an excellent national job which was\u00a0successfully achieved thanks to the efforts of the trainers and the\u00a0commitment and enthusiasm of the participants in\u00a0the course.<\/p>\n

Al-Barazi added that the graduates of the previous\u00a0courses started to take position in the sites and\u00a0villages which the army has cleared from the terrorists,\u00a0asserting that they will be a genuine support to\u00a0the Syrian army to achieve more advance in its war against terrorism.<\/p>\n

Some 1650 members graduated during the three\u00a0courses, the supervisor officer of the course told\u00a0SANA.<\/p>\n

The officer added that the graduates represent all\u00a0spectrum of the Syrian people and they constitute\u00a0a true support for realizing stability and maintaining\u00a0the public and private properties, infrastructure\u00a0and institutions.<\/p>\n
