{"id":67151,"date":"2016-01-21T18:12:46","date_gmt":"2016-01-21T16:12:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=67151"},"modified":"2016-01-29T10:20:19","modified_gmt":"2016-01-29T08:20:19","slug":"tank-mortar-and-artillery-ammunition-bound-for-terrorists-seized-in-western-sweida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=67151","title":{"rendered":"Tank, mortar and artillery ammunition bound for terrorists seized in western Sweida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sweida, SANA &#8211; The authorities concerned in Sweida foiled Wednesday night an operation to smuggle a large quantity of ammunition for medium and heavy weapons coming from the eastern countryside of the neighboring Daraa province and bound for terrorist organizations in the Syrian Badiya (desert).<\/p>\n<p>A source at Sweida governorate said in a statement to SANA reporter that the seized ammunition included tank, mortar and artillery shells, noting that the ammunition were hidden inside a diesel tank mounted on a pickup.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle was seized in the western countryside of Sweida province.<\/p>\n<p>Last October, the authorities seized a large quantity of arms and ammunition for terrorist organizations in an ambush on Salkhad-al-Mneizra junction in the southern countryside of Sweida.<\/p>\n<p>Mortar and RPG rounds, machine gun bullets, grenades, incendiary chemical substances and other materials used for making explosives were confiscated in the operation.<\/p>\n<p>Qabas\/ H.
