Provinces, SANA \u2013 The continuous crackdown of army against terrorist groups is resulting in increasing numbers of deaths within their ranks as a new series of military operations were launched Wednesday against the terrorists’ dens and gatherings in several areas around the country.<\/p>\n
Army units killed terrorists and wounded others in a string of operations on eastern Ghouta and several other towns in Damascus countryside<\/span>, destroying dens where terrorists stashed weapons and ammunition.<\/p>\n SANA field reporter said a den for a terrorist group \u00a0was razed in al-Nishabiyeh farms deep into eastern Ghouta. Abdullah Ghannoum and Ismael Meshmesh were among the killed terrorists.<\/p>\n Terrorists’ hideouts were reduced to rubble in several areas in Joubar neighborhood, according to SANA reporter.<\/p>\n In parallel, army units pushed ahead with operations in al-Qalamoun mountainous region adjoining Essal al-Ward town on the Syrian-Lebanese borders, killing and wounding numbers of terrorists and destroying their weaponry.<\/p>\n A military source added that army units destroyed terrorists concentration centers in Khan El-shih farms, killing and wounding many.<\/p>\n A military source said that an army unit has wiped out an entire armed terrorist group that tried to break the siege on terrorists in al-Maliha town in Damascus countryside, destroying an armored vehicle with all the terrorists inside.<\/p>\n An army unit targeted terrorists’ hideouts in al-Yadouda town in Daraa<\/span> countryside, killing many of them, a military source said.<\/p>\n The source added that some of killed terrorists are not Syrian, pointing out that the body of terrorist Rakan al-Obeidat from Jordan was identified among the killed terrorists.<\/p>\n Units of the armed forces have also destroyed a den of the terrorists in al-Nazhin Camp in Daraa al-Balad, killing all the terrorists inside it including a leader of one of the terrorist groups called Munaf Abdul-Naser al-Masri.<\/p>\n Army units thwarted an armed terrorist groups attempt to infiltrate from Jordan street to the west of al-Yarmouk school towards al-Haj Raja al-Jawabrah Square in Daraa al-Balad,\u00a0 killing and injuring a number of its members.<\/p>\n In the city and countryside of Aleppo<\/span>, a number of terrorists were killed and others were injured, while a number of their vehicles were destroyed \u00a0in a series of operations carried out by the armed forces against the dens and gatherings of terrorists in Khan al-Asal, Khan al-Ais, Bir Jamal, Anjara, Kafir Kar, Bab al-Hadid, Bala, Hanano, al-Jandoul, al-Sakhour, Ghurnata and Salah Eddin.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, army units eliminated a terrorist group in Khan Tuman, in addition to demolishing seven cars as all of the terrorists inside them were killed in Ard al-Malah, Qubtan al-Jabal and al-Atareb.<\/p>\n In Homs<\/span> Countryside, an army unit targeted a den of terrorist groups\u2019 leaders in the Southern al-Qastal Village as a big number of them were killed and others were wounded.<\/p>\n Gatherings of the terrorists were also attacked by the army units in Abu al-Sanasel, al-Sultania, and al-Habra al-Sharqia and between Ruhum and Unk al-Hawa as a number of the terrorists were killed and others were injured.<\/p>\n A bulldozer for terrorists was also destroyed to the east of Um Sharshouh School.<\/p>\n A military source told SANA that the army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Kfaroma, Tal Minnigh, Maret al-Nouman, al-Hamdiyeh, al-Dayef valley, Maar Shoreen, Jarjnaz, Kfar Najd, al-Baara, Bzabour, Kfar Lata, al-Baraghety and to the north of Abu Dahour Airport in Idleb<\/span> countryside, killing and injuring scores of them, in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition.<\/p>\n The source added that the engineering units dismantled 3 explosive devices weighing between 15-20 Kg on al-Rami-Nahlet Orm al-Jouz road.
