{"id":71617,"date":"2016-03-10T10:10:31","date_gmt":"2016-03-10T08:10:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=71617"},"modified":"2016-03-10T15:11:28","modified_gmt":"2016-03-10T13:11:28","slug":"118-schools-reopened-in-southern-hasaka-recently","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=71617","title":{"rendered":"118 schools reopened in southern Hasaka recently"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hasaka, SANA \u2013 118 schools have been reopened in al-Shaddadi city and al-Arisha town to the south of the northeastern Hasaka city over the past two weeks, said Mohammad al-Alas of the Education and Culture Department at Hasaka City Council on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in a statement to SANA reporter, he added that 38,000 copies of school books have been delivered and a committee has been formed to follow up on the educational requirements in the province&#8217;s southern area in order to ensure the reopening of schools as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Alas pointed out that a circulated note was issued for teachers working in the area to return to their schools, while 170 teachers have been appointed to cover vacancies.<\/p>\n<p>There are 158 schools in al-Shaddadi city, 112 in al-Arisha town and 87 in al-Markada town.<\/p>\n<p>Hasaka Governor Eng. Mohammad Zaal al-Ali announced last week that 77 schools were reopened in al-Shaddadi city and al-Arisha town at the beginning of the current month.<\/p>\n<p>On February 19, the tribes\u2019 fighters and popular defense groups established control over al-Shaddadi city after fierce clashes with ISIS terrorists positioned there.<\/p>\n<p>R.
