Hama <\/span><\/p>\n An army unit ambushed ISIS terrorists in the eastern countryside of Hama province, a field source told SANA on Thursday.<\/p>\n According to the source, the ambush resulted in the destruction of a truck loaded with weapons and ammunition intended to be sent to ISIS terrorists in al-Sheikh Hilal village in Hama eastern countryside and the death of a \u00a0number of terrorists.<\/p>\n Army units killed a number of ISIS\u2019 members in al-Tar and al-Hayal mountains, al-Mothalath, Wadi al-Zakara and the area surrounding Tadmour city in Homs countryside.<\/p>\n Homs\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Army units carried out intensive operations against ISIS in the eastern countryside The ISIS\u2019 sites and dens were destroyed in al-Tar and al-Hayal \u00a0mountains to the west of Tadmour city.<\/p>\n Many of ISIS\u2019 terrorists were killed and their weapons and ammunition were destroyed in al- \u00a0Mothalath, Wadi al-Zakara and the area surrounding Tadmour.<\/p>\n Aleppo<\/span><\/p>\n A leader within ISIS terrorist organization named “Hassan Abboud”, who is identified as the “Wali (emir) of Homs”, was killed in an army raid in the southeastern countryside of Aleppo province.<\/p>\n Media said Abboud was killed along with a number of his companions, while others were injured, in the raid which took place at the site of Khanaser town.<\/p>\n The terrorist Abboud was responsible for the attack launched by ISIS terrorists on Khanser few weeks ago.<\/p>\n He was the leader of the formerly “Dawood Brigade” that is affiliated to the “Islamic Front” in Idleb before he pledged allegiance to ISIS last year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Provinces, SANA- The army units, backed by its air forces, continued chasing ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations excluded from the cessation of hostilities agreement across the country, destroying their\u00a0equipment and killing a number of their members.
