\nmeans to enhance cooperation between the financial\u00a0investigation units in Syria and Russia and the\u00a0issues of combating financing of terrorism.<\/p>\n
During a meeting in Moscow, the two sides\u00a0discussed the mechanisms to develop urgent and\u00a0comprehensive measures to combat the financing of\u00a0ISIS and other terrorist organizations which would\u00a0enhance Syria’s role in the international efforts
\nto combat money laundering and terrorism\u00a0financing.<\/p>\n
The Russian Financial Investigation Unit expressed\u00a0its readiness to offer the technical and training\u00a0support to Anti-money Laundering and Anti-terrorism Financing Commission.<\/p>\n
This meeting comes within the framework of\u00a0international efforts to combat the financing of\u00a0ISIS and other terrorist organizations.<\/p>\n
