{"id":73300,"date":"2016-03-30T11:44:06","date_gmt":"2016-03-30T08:44:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=73300"},"modified":"2016-04-05T09:50:35","modified_gmt":"2016-04-05T06:50:35","slug":"moscow-western-countries-block-security-council-statement-on-palmyra-liberation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=73300","title":{"rendered":"Moscow: Western countries block Security Council statement on Palmyra liberation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Moscow, SANA &#8211; Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Wednesday that Moscow is disappointed by the stance of the Western countries as they have blocked a statement welcoming the liberation of Palmyra from ISIS at the UN Security Council drafted by the Russian side.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are not so much surprised and disappointed by the position of Western colleagues as puzzled by their true intentions in regard to peaceful settlement in Syria,&#8221; Zakharova told the reporters on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We thought that the delay of reaction from the Western capitals on Palmyra\u2019s liberation was a coincidence.
