{"id":73608,"date":"2016-04-04T12:59:01","date_gmt":"2016-04-04T09:59:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sana.sy\/en\/?p=73608"},"modified":"2016-04-04T12:59:01","modified_gmt":"2016-04-04T09:59:01","slug":"dprk-condemns-us-hostile-measures-against-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.sana.sy\/en\/?p=73608","title":{"rendered":"DPRK condemns US hostile measures against it"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pyongyang, SANA, The Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea (DPRK) condemned the US hostile measures against it pointing out that US is trying to lay a siege over it like Leningrad in World War II and Cuba during the Cold War.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a statement carried Monday by the DPRK \u2018s official KCNA news agency, a spokesman for the National Defense Commission (NDC) said the latest UN sanctions imposed on Pyongyang over its nuclear weapons programme were suicidal and could trigger a nuclear strike on the US mainland.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The UN Security Council adopted a series of sanctions on DPRK after Pyongyang conducted its fourth nuclear test on 6 of January and a space rocket launch a month for research purposes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The NDC spokesman said the sanctions were the work of the US and other hostile forces that were intent on attacking DPRK in a flock to swallow it up, stressing that such procedures would not affect Pyongyang morale but would only strengthen its resolve.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The US and South Korea launched few weeks ago a large scale joint military exercises that Pyongyang views as a provocative rehearsal for invasion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Barry\/ Ghossoun<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pyongyang, SANA, The Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea (DPRK) condemned the US hostile measures against it pointing out that US is trying to lay a siege over it like Leningrad in World War II and Cuba during the Cold War.
