Provinces, SANA, Army units foiled an ISIS\u00a0terrorists’ attack against Deir Ezzor military\u00a0airport from the eastern side on Monday.<\/p>\n
A field source told SANA that the army units in\u00a0the airport destroyed two ISIS heavy-bombed\u00a0vehicles tried to move towards the airport from\u00a0the two villages of al-Jaffra and al-Mureihya in\u00a0the eastern countryside of the city.<\/p>\n
The destruction of the two vehicles was followed\u00a0by heavy clashes between the army and ISIS. Heavy\u00a0losses were inflicted upon terrorists in personnel\u00a0and weaponry while others were forced to flee\u00a0away.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, a military source confirmed that a\u00a0military unit destroyed 4 vehicles loaded with\u00a0ISIS terrorists and ammunition in al-Jaffra\u00a0together with another vehicle in al-Sina’a\u00a0district in Deir Ezzor city.<\/p>\n
The field source confirmed that scores of ISIS\u00a0terrorists were killed and injured in a special\u00a0operation for an army unit against their positions\u00a0in Howijet al-Saqer area at the eastern outskirts\u00a0of Deir Ezzor city.<\/p>\n
Aleppo\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A military source told SANA that Units of the army foiled an attack by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and other affiliated organizations on some military points and positions in Aleppo countryside, inflicting them heavy losses.<\/p>\n Homs<\/span><\/p>\n An army unit killed members of a terrorist group affiliated to the so called \u201cAhrar al-Sham Islamic Movemnt\u201d in Deir Foul village in the northern countryside of Homs.<\/p>\n Earlier, the Syrian army’s air force carried out intensive sorties on the gatherings of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist organization in the surrounding of al-Qaryatain city and the eastern countryside of Palmyra.<\/p>\n The airstrikes destroyed terrorists’ hideouts and several vehicles which were equipped with medium and heavy machineguns nearby al-Qaryatain city, 85 km southeast of Homs City, a military source told SANA reporter.<\/p>\n The source added that the air forces also targeted terrorists’ positions and fortifications in al-Sawaneh al-Sharqiyeh village and Khneifis town, 70 km south of Palmyra City, destroying their equipment and vehicles.<\/p>\n Yesterday, several terrorists were killed and others were injured, their equipment and armament were destroyed as the Syrian army units targeted two terrorist groups gathered south to wells 101 and 105 in the direction of Shaer and northwest of Tolol Nizam in the eastern countryside of Homs province.<\/p>\n \n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Provinces, SANA, Army units foiled an ISIS\u00a0terrorists’ attack against Deir Ezzor military\u00a0airport from the eastern side on Monday.
