Moscow, SANA The Russian Defense Ministry said on\u00a0Saturday that Hemeimim Coordination Center\u00a0observed 4 breaches by terrorist organizations for\u00a0the Cessation of Hostilities agreement during the\u00a0past 24 hours in the countryside of Lattakia, Hama
\nand Homs provinces which led to the increase of\u00a0breaches to 372 since the agreement went into\u00a0effect on 27 February.<\/p>\n
Russian Defense Ministry’s spokesman, Gen. Igor\u00a0Konashenkov said in a statement that all breaches\u00a0were perpetrated by the armed members of Jaish al-\u00a0Islam and Ahrar Al-Sham who targeted a number\u00a0of towns with mortars and shell launchers.<\/p>\n
ISIS and al-Nusra terrorists continue provoking\u00a0the civilians and the Syrian army in the\u00a0countryside of Idleb and Aleppo, where terrorists\u00a0of Jabhat al-Nusra launched a terrorist attack\u00a0against Al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo\u00a0killing 18 civilians and injuring 60, Gen.\u00a0Konashenkov added.<\/p>\n
The Russian spokesman affirmed that the Cessation\u00a0of Hostilities agreement is, in general, still\u00a0standing, indicating that a reconciliation\u00a0agreement was achieved with representatives of a\u00a0town in the countryside of Homs. He also pointed\u00a0to the success of talks with an armed group from\u00a0the countryside of Aleppo to join the agreement
\nwere .<\/p>\n
The Cessation of Hostilities agreement, which\u00a0went into effect since 27 February, does not\u00a0include Jabhat Al-Nusra, ISIS and other terrorist\u00a0organizations classified on the international\u00a0terrorist organization list.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Seregey Koshelev, the chief of\u00a0the Foreign Military Cooperation Directorate of\u00a0the Russian Defense Ministry said that his country\u00a0and the US had coordinated a document which\u00a0defines means of dealing with armed groups in\u00a0Syria that\u00a0violate the Cessation of Hostilities\u00a0agreement.<\/p>\n
Koshelev told Russian News Service Radio that the\u00a0document was prepared and coordinated with the US\u00a0and the work is underway for defining principles
\nof applying it.<\/p>\n
