Provinces, SANA – Army units destroyed gatherings and\u00a0vehicles for terrorists of ISIS and Jabhat al-\u00a0Nusra in the northern city of Aleppo and its\u00a0countryside on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Aleppo<\/span><\/p>\n In Aleppo\u00a0city, army units destroyed, in special\u00a0operations, gatherings and dens of Jabhat Al-Nusra\u00a0terrorists in Karem al-Jazamati, al-Sakan al-\u00a0Shababi and Beni Zaid neighborhoods, a military\u00a0source told SANA.<\/p>\n The source added that army units conducted, during\u00a0the past hours, intensive operations against dens\u00a0and supply routes for Jabhat al-Nusra-linked\u00a0terrorist groups in Hanadarat camp and Sheqeif\u00a0Farms in the northern Aleppo, inflicting losses The army units, in cooperation with supporting\u00a0forces, continued operations and destroyed\u00a0positions and vehicles of Jabhat al-Nusra to the\u00a0west of Khan Touman town and the two villages of\u00a0al-Eis and al-Bawabia in the southern countryside\u00a0of the province.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, a field source told SANA that army\u00a0units, in cooperation with supporting forces, had\u00a0heavy clashes with al-Nusra-affiliated terrorist\u00a0groups which attacked military positions in the\u00a0vicinity of Zitan town in the southern countryside\u00a0of Aleppo province.<\/p>\n The clashes resulted in foiling the attack and\u00a0destroying a Tank for terrorists, a vehicle\u00a0equipped with a 23 mm heavy-machinegun and a\u00a0bulldozer at the surroundings of Al-Zerbe village.<\/p>\n The source affirmed that a heavy BMP\u00a0rigged with explosives and a tank for Al-Nusra\u00a0terrorists were destroyed, as well as a number of\u00a0them were killed and injured during the army’s\u00a0defense of the military positions in the village.<\/p>\n In the eastern countryside of the province, a\u00a0military source said that ISIS terrorist\u00a0organization received heavy losses in personnel\u00a0and heavy-machinegun-equipped vehicles in army’s\u00a0operations against their gatherings and sites in\u00a0Aran and Berlaheen villages in the eastern\u00a0countryside of the province.<\/p>\n Homs<\/span><\/p>\n The Syrian air force conducted intensive strikes against ISIS positions and vehicles in the southwestern countryside of Palmyra in Homs province.<\/p>\n The\u00a0strikes resulted in inflicting heavy losses upon ISIS terrorists and destroying their mid and heavy-machinegun equipped vehicles in the vicinity of the al-Hayr al-Gharbi Palace, which ISIS uses as caches for munitions and stolen artifacts from Palmyra.<\/p>\n Earlier Saturday, authorities, while combing areas in Palmyra, recovered five archeological artifacts which had been stolen from the National Museum in Palmyra by ISIS terrorists.<\/p>\n Daraa<\/span><\/p>\n An army unit thwarted an attack by terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra on military posts on the outskirts of al-Manshiyeh neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad area in the southern Daraa province.<\/p>\n The military source said in a statement to SANA that an army unit clashed with terrorist groups linked to Jabhat al-Nusra that attacked a number of military posts in the western and southern sides of al-Manshiyeh neighborhood.<\/p>\n During the clashes, a number of terrorists were killed and others were injured, in addition to destroying a bulldozer which the terrorists used as a moving shield and to make sand barriers to protect their fortified points in the area.<\/p>\n Hama<\/span><\/p>\n A military source said that Army units repelled an attempted attack by terrorist groups on military positions in al-Jakoura area in Sahl al-Ghab (al-Ghab Plain) in the countryside of Hama province, eliminating many terrorists and destroying their weapons and equipment.<\/p>\n Heavy clashes erupted between the army units defending the military posts and terrorist organizations which resulted in the killing of scores of terrorists and the destruction of portable machin-guns, 4 armored vehicles, rocket launcher and two bombed vehicles.<\/p>\n Earlier, the army units killed 50 terrorists of \u201cJabhat al-Nusra \u201c and inflicted heavy losses in their weaponary during their attempted attack of a number of military\u00a0 posts in the vicinity of al-Haweije village at the northwestern countrysideof the province, and the villages of al-Zeghbe and Qasr Abu Samra at the northeastern countryside of the Hama province<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Provinces, SANA – Army units destroyed gatherings and\u00a0vehicles for terrorists of ISIS and Jabhat al-\u00a0Nusra in the northern city of Aleppo and its\u00a0countryside on Sunday.
