Tehran, SANA- Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that Iran supports the intra-Syrian dialogue in Geneva and the cessation of hostilities in Syria.<\/p>\n
“The terrorist groups in Syria have committed many violations of the cessation of hostilities,” Abdullahian said during his meeting with Czech Deputy Foreign Minister Martin Tlapa in Tehran on Monday.<\/p>\n
The Iranian Diplomat called on the international community to act seriously to fight terrorism.<\/p>\n
He affirmed Iran’s readiness to cooperate with the United Nations to push forward the process of the intra-Syrian dialogue and to expedite shipment of emergency supplies to Syria.<\/p>\n
For his part, the Czech official, expressed support for political solution to end the crisis in Syria, saying that Syrian people should be allowed to decide their own fate.<\/p>\n
He said that the nationwide parliamentary elections held in Syria last week was a major manifestation of democratic process that help the people determine their own destiny.<\/p>\n
