Provinces, SANA – The army and armed forces continued combating terrorism in various provinces of the country, killing ISIS terrorists and destroying their vehicles and ammunition.<\/p>\n
Homs<\/span><\/p>\n The army’s air force carried out during the past 24 hours intensive sorties targeting ISIS convoys of vehicles transporting terrorists and ammunition north and east of Palmyra city, a military source told SANA on Thursday.<\/p>\n Scores of vehicles were destroyed and a number of terrorists were killed and injured in the airstrikes.<\/p>\n Damascus Countryside<\/span><\/p>\n 20 ISIS terrorists killed<\/span><\/p>\n An army unit carried out a precise operation targeting one of ISIS movement direction from the northeastern countryside of Sweida towards their fortified positions to the southeast of Bir al-Qasab area in Damascus Countryside.<\/p>\n The operation, which was based on accurate information and close observation, resulted in the death of 20 terrorists and the destruction of a number of their vehicles, some equipped with machine guns.<\/p>\n Daraa<\/span><\/p>\n An army unit clashed with terrorists\u00a0from Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist\u00a0organizations infiltrated to the vicinity of a\u00a0military posts near Daraa \/Gherbet Ghazaleh road\u00a0in the northern countryside of Daraa province.<\/p>\n A number of terrorists were killed and injured as\u00a0their arms and ammunition were destroyed.<\/p>\n Other army units clashed with Jabhat al-Nusra-\u00a0affiliated terrorist groups that attacked a\u00a0military post in Daraa al-Balad.<\/p>\n The clash resulted in foiling the terrorists’\u00a0infiltration attempt and killing and injuring many\u00a0of them.<\/p>\n Aleppo<\/span><\/p>\n Army units targeted gatherings of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists and their vehicles in Tal Hidiyeh and al-Barqoum villages, Abu Shleim and al-Hadabeh al-Khadraa areas and in the towns of Khan Touman and al-Hader in the southern countryside of Aleppo province.<\/p>\n The terrorists suffered heavy losses and their vehicles, some of them equipped with various machineguns, were destroyed in the army’s operations.<\/p>\n Other army units killed and injured members of Jabhat al-Nusra-linked terrorist groups in al-Mansoura, Hazmar and Kafr Hamra villages in Aleppo western countryside.<\/p>\n An armored vehicle for Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists was destroyed in al-Rashideen neighborhood on the western outskirts of Aleppo city.<\/p>\n In Aleppo northeastern countryside, a number of ISISI terrorists were killed and injured and their weapons were destroyed in Fafin village.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Provinces, SANA – The army and armed forces continued combating terrorism in various provinces of the country, killing ISIS terrorists and destroying their vehicles and ammunition.
