Lattakia, SANA The armed groups breached the\u00a0Cessation of Hostilities agreement in Syria 9\u00a0times during the past 24 hours, putting the number\u00a0of breaches since February 27 at 422, according to\u00a0the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim.<\/p>\n
The agreement, which came into effect on 27\u00a0February, does not include Jabhat al-Nusra, ISIS\u00a0terrorist organizations and other groups listed by\u00a0the UN as terrorist organizations.<\/p>\n
The Russian center said in a statement, published\u00a0on the website of the Russian Defense Ministry on\u00a0Saturday that it observed 9 breaches, 5 in\u00a0Damascus countryside and 4 in Lattakia\u00a0countryside.<\/p>\n
It added that gunmen of the so called Jaish al-\u00a0Islam shelled 5 towns in Damascus countryside\u00a0with mortar shells, while the so called Ahrar al-\u00a0Sham shelled 4 towns in Lattakia countryside with\u00a0mortar canons and rocket launchers.<\/p>\n
Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization continued\u00a0attacks against civilians in the countryside of\u00a0Lattakia and Aleppo, according to the center which\u00a0added that more than 80 gunmen sneaked from\u00a0Turkey into Idleb province.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the number of armed groups that\u00a0joined the Cessation of Hostilities agreement\u00a0raised to 51, the Russian coordination center in\u00a0Hmeimim reported.<\/p>\n
