Moscow, SANA- Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov\u00a0described on Thursday the truce in Aleppo city as\u00a0‘very fragile’.<\/p>\n
“You always want to hope for the better: this is\u00a0what is desired by the Russian side and, probably,\u00a0by our American colleagues,” the Kremlin spokesman\u00a0said in a press statement.<\/p>\n
“At the same time, there are such complicated\u00a0mixtures of terrorist groups in Aleppo that, of\u00a0course, the situation [with the truce observance] `is potentially very fragile,” Peskov said.<\/p>\n
In turn, Chairman of the Russian State Duma’s\u00a0defense committee Admiral Vladimir Komoyedov\u00a0considered that the agreement on the truce proves\u00a0the fruitful cooperation between Russia and US\u00a0about crisis settlement in Syria.<\/p>\n
He added that dialogue is already under way\u00a0between the Russian and US sides, explaining that\u00a0the truce will be beneficial to all parties in\u00a0order to reach peace in Syria.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, General Command of the Army and\u00a0Armed Forces announced that a truce will be\u00a0applied in Aleppo for 48 hours as of 1 a.m. on\u00a0Thursday May 5th, 2016.<\/p>\n
