Lattakia, SANA Terrorist groups breached the\u00a0cessation of hostilities agreement in Syria 5\u00a0times in the past 24 hours, raising the total\u00a0number of breaches to 609 since the agreement came\u00a0into effect on 27 February, the Russian\u00a0Coordination Center said.<\/p>\n
The center, based in Hmeimim airbase, added in a\u00a0statement on Wednesday that breaches were observed\u00a0in Damascus where terrorists of the so-called\u00a0Jaish al-Islam targeted Syrian army positions with\u00a0mortar rounds in the towns of Erbin, Douma , Jour\u00a0al-Basha and Jobar in Damascus countryside.<\/p>\n
The center said that there is commitment to the\u00a0cessation of hostilities agreement where a town in\u00a0the countryside of Homs has joined the agreement\u00a0putting the total number of the towns which joined\u00a0the cessation of hostilities agreement at 129.<\/p>\n
The Russian center added that talks with leaders\u00a0of armed groups in Damascus countryside, Homs and\u00a0Hama provinces are underway over joining the\u00a0agreement.<\/p>\n
The Russian and Syrian air forces did not conduct\u00a0strikes against armed groups which announced\u00a0joining the cessation of hostilities agreement to\u00a0Russian or American reconciliation centers, the\u00a0Center noted.<\/p>\n
Humanitarian aids were delivered to Zaria town\u00a0locals displaced at a camp in Homs, the center\u00a0said, adding that an Abakan Air plane dropped UN\u00a0humanitarian aid over the ISIS-besieged Deir Ezzor\u00a0city containing food and cereal baskets weighing
\n18.300 kg, the Russian center said.<\/p>\n
The Center pointed out that Russian air forces\u00a0continue to undermine economic bases for ISIS\u00a0where a Russian SU-24 bomber targeted an oil\u00a0refinery in the areas where ISIS are positioned in\u00a0the governorate of al-Hasaka.<\/p>\n
