Lattakia, SANA \u2013 The Russian Center for coordination and monitoring the cessation of hostilities agreement said the terrorists of Ahrar al-Sham and Jabhat al-Nusra have targeted military sites in al-Ansari neighborhood in Aleppo city and shelled a number of neighborhoods.<\/p>\n
The center spokesman based at the Russian airbase in Hmeimim said in a statement on Sunday that the terrorists of the two terrorist organizations continue to shell al-Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood and military sites in Handarat, adding that heavy clashes erupted in al-Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood in which terrorists used armored vehicles.<\/p>\n
The spokesman warned that Jabhat al-Nusra is taking advantage of the cessation of hostilities agreement and the presence of so-called \u201cmoderate opposition\u201d groups in areas where its groups are based by redeploying its troops and completing its reserves of arms and ammunition.<\/p>\n
He pointed out that the terrorist groups targeted on Saturday night with mortar cannons the area of al-Castilo, which is a commercial hub, Hanadart Camp and residential neighborhoods to the north of Aleppo city.<\/p>\n
The cessation of hostilities agreement came into effect on February 27 and it does not include ISIS, Jabhat al-Nusra and other groups designated as terrorist organizations by the UN Security Council.<\/p>\n
